I'm feeling blah today. I was recently lucky enough to get a partial scholarship to The Queer Gym's coaching program, which is amazing. In addition to the classes I was already doing, I now get 16 weeks of coaching and nutrition help. Part of this is a new goal to start getting 3000 steps a day. I thought the struggle I was going to have was going to be making myself get out and take walks every day. I never imagined I'd have trouble hitting the step goal if I was taking walks.
Yeah, my shins kill me about halfway through a leisurely 15 minute stroll, even if I'm wearing the right shoes and stay away from inclines. It's incredibly dispiriting. I'm getting a walking pad my cousin doesn't use, so hopefully that helps, but I feel like I'm going backwards with the walks. The numbers agree. It sucks.
